The Best Arm Position For Pressups
Having your arms out to the side is the WORST way to do push ups! Keep your elbows tucked or you will get injured! That’s not a proper push up! Keep your arms in!
People get very passionate about the ‘PROPER’ way to have your arms when doing a push up, but in reality there is no one proper way. Despite the many youtube videos out there, often recorded by fit looking men & women who look like they know what they are talking about, there is no evidence that having your elbows out increases risk of injury more than having your elbows in.
